UK and International workshops online.
Who is this programme for?
Want to build your knowledge and learn the fundamentals of producing? Make a project happen or grow your networks? If you're an artist looking to self-produce, find producers, build an organisation or learn more about the role of the producer, this programme is for you.
People who benefit the most from this programme are usually looking to take control of their own artistic journey and develop their own projects. They are either at the start of this journey or come with some experience, wanting to produce at the next level.
If you aspire to produce your own work, if you're looking to build new skills and knowledge in key areas like Fundraising, Budgeting, Marketing, Negotiating and building partnerships. If you're looking for a toolkit that builds confidence, communication and networks, to grow yourself, a project or a company in what is a tough current climate, this workshop is for you.
Workshops are designed to focus in on your interests and needs. Small group sizes allow us to do this, whether it's subsidised producing, commercial producing or learning the basics of producing. This five-week course fast-tracks you to a place where you're able to see your next step and proactively achieve your goals.

Why choose this programme?
The workshops are built around my story and my passion for staging new work. I have a proven track record of supporting and developing artists who have gone on to be industry leaders and award-winning creatives.
Through this programme, you will avoid some of the common pitfalls that new producers can fall short on, you're getting 17+ years' experience. I started out at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009, producing 5 years in a row, whilst co-producing in London's west end. Then developed a series of off west end productions, developments and tours across the UK. This isn't a theoretical course; we work through the practical realities of developing, financing, producing and delivering theatre across different models in this tough climate. Models that have enabled me to still be producing on various scales, with national and international partners in 2026.
My workshops are tried and tested and hired by top UK Drama Schools and Universities, as well as developed in public settings with Holm Theatre in Wales and England. Each workshop combines practical teaching, real-world examples, discussion and exercises that you can apply to your own projects in real time, avoiding being overwhelmed and giving you clarity.
“It did exactly what it said on the tin and explained the fundamentals of producing but also how Anthony was able to adapt and change the content of the workshop to suit the experience of the participants. It was very much appreciated, and I learnt so much more because the workshop was tailored to my level of experience.” Participant 2024 of NPO The Octagon, Somerset.
